Transform type commander
#1
hello

quick question.
Imagine you have Dog Pack & your commander is a Front-Line DOG-Type Commander with TRANSFORM & ATTACK as his ability.

The tranform will happen
The attack will happen
Will the Type also be taken into account or will the new unit be considered for his type... or will neither give a bonus to adjacent Dogs?

Thanks

Oooooh tricky question!

I don't think anyone's tested that before, but my guts says the pack ability will try counting the new unit's type, not the commander's.

I dare you to say my name properly!

As far as I'm concerned it would give the Dog Pack Attack increase to a Unit above your commander but not to a unit below your Commander. By the time the lower Unit calculates its Pack ability the new unit is already in play, so that seems like the obvious answer. I haven't tried it, but that's my expectation.
